Our Work In Alabama

In partnership with the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, ARC is supporting 44 projects in Alabama totaling $12.9 million in fiscal year 2023. These investments have been matched by $18.8 million and are attracting an additional 1.08 billion in leveraged private investments in Alabama. They are also creating or retaining over 1,720 jobs, training and educating 6,900 students and workers, and benefitting the 3.1 million residents in Alabama’s 37 Appalachian counties.
