In partnership with the State of Maryland, ARC is supporting 22 projects in Maryland totaling $4 million in fiscal year 2023. These investments have been matched by $5.7 million in Maryland. They are also training and educating 5,480 students and workers, and benefitting the 250,000 residents in Maryland’s 3 Appalachian counties.

ARC’s current strategic plan is a blueprint for investments at the Regional level. Each of Appalachia’s 13 states develops a companion four-year plan and annual strategy statement outlining its funding priorities for ARC projects.
