Guy Land, ARC congressional liaison, was discharged from a University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) hospital this afternoon, and will continue his recovery in the DC area. 

ARC Federal Co-Chair Gayle Manchin was discharged from a UAB hospital yesterday afternoon, and is continuing her recovery in West Virginia with family.  

Both Federal Co-Chair Manchin and Mr. Land are grateful for the excellent care provided by the UAB medical team, as well as the continued well wishes from the public. 

On Tuesday, January 30, ARC shared that Federal Co-Chair Manchin and Mr. Land were injured in Birmingham, AL, when a vehicle struck theirs while en route to an ARC grant workshop. Read the original statement.
