ARC will announce the opening of applications for the ALI Class of 2024-2025 on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00 am ET. Below we’ve included key messages, a newsletter blurb, sample social media posts, and other resources that will help you easily amplify the news within your state.

  • The all-inclusive, nine-month program runs from October-July and includes skill-building seminars, best practice reviews, and site visits across the region. 
  • The Appalachian Leadership Institute is limited to 40 Fellows annually, drawn from the public, private, and non-profit sectors in all 13 Appalachian states.

Applications for Appalachian Leadership Institute Class of 2024-2025 Now Open

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is now accepting applications for the sixth class of the Appalachian Leadership Institute (ALI), a free leadership and economic development training opportunity for individuals currently living and/or working in one of ARC’s 13 Appalachian states.

An all-inclusive, nine-month program that includes six on-site seminars throughout the Appalachian region, ALI focuses on skill-building, mentoring, and networking to equip Appalachian leaders with the skills and connections needed to help their communities thrive.
