The Green Bank for Rural America will host a virtual launch event on December 4, 2-3:30 p.m. ET. This milestone event will feature keynote remarks from Appalachian Regional Commission Federal Co-Chair Gayle C. Manchin and Appalachian Community Capital President & CEO Donna Gambrell, offering insights into the opportunities ahead for rural communities. The Green Bank will also open its $450 million funding round to support community lenders in advancing innovative projects across the region.
Throughout December, additional sessions will focus on key areas like how to apply, workforce development, and community engagement. These events will also introduce Daniel Wallace as the Green Bank’s first President and CEO. Daniel’s leadership and expertise in development finance will help drive transformative investments in rural prosperity.
