This template is a workable document and can be used to develop a budget narrative for both new ARC grant applications and requests for budget revisions once a project is under contract. Please use the “template” on sheet 1 to input your expenses and refer to sheets 2 and 3 for a general example and an INSPIRE-specific example.

Please keep in mind that this template contains auto-calculations to assist with budget accuracy. Formulas are included in column E and in each section “total” line. Should you accidentally delete one of these formulas, total values may be calculated incorrectly. Please double-check to ensure accuracy.
